Official Guinness World Record

Read story

No one said it could be done! I spent months and countless hours organising 50,000 pieces of evidence meticulously, but it’s official! I’m now the Guinness World Record Holder for the Youngest Person to Circumnavigate the World by Motorcycle!

Bonnie and I have overcome a lot of obstacles to get to this point, we spent 233 days riding over 32,000 miles through over 35 countries, we rode through tropical storms, desert heat, we slept on many roadsides and met hundreds of amazing people from around the world! We got through the hard times in the Himalayas, we persevered and improvised when things got tough and we never stopped pushing to the finish line for a record that seemed impossible. A record like this doesn’t just belong to me, countless people helped me throughout this adventure and I can’t thank you all enough and hope our paths cross again so I can return the favours. I also want to thank everyone that donated to Unicef. Raising money and more importantly, awareness for Unicef was a large part of my trip, In the end, we raised £2292 and together we’ve improved the lives of many children!

THE NEXT ADVENTURE

I can’t stop thinking about “The Next Adventure”. I’ve come up with many ideas and have settled on one theme. Flying. The next adventure will be a Solo Circumnavigation by Aircraft. I don’t know how to fly, I don’t have a plane, but I have the same unrelenting determination as before and this time I want to share it with you all.  To my knowledge, this circumnavigation will make me the first person to circumnavigate the world by land and air (solo)

By taking on this challenge I hope to inspire other people to follow their dreams irrespective of circumstances by creating opportunities for themselves to realise those aspirations.

To do this, I have set myself a goal to share every step of the process – from the inception of a dream to its realisation and completion. I want to share the lessons I have learnt on my previous journeys, demonstrate the motivation that is needed to do something like this and most of all show how important part that other people play in journey. I also hope to share this experience by broadcasting the whole event live and will be exploring options for doing this (just in case it wasn’t challenging enough).

With my last adventure, I had some great sponsors, sponsors that believed in what I was doing and who I believe to be the best. Dainese, AGV, and Dart Flyscreens were among a few of the main sponsors, their motorcycle gear and equipment prevented possible fatal and trip ending injuries. To these companies, I thank you for believing in me.

The next adventure is going to be much larger in scale and this time I’m looking for bigger partnerships, together we can make a difference!

Whatever end up happending you can find all my sananigans on Instagram at @Bonnietour.
